HI, I'm Cearra a Metro Detroit photographer with a lifelong love for photography and storytelling, and this is my story.

I fell in love with photography at a young age, one of my earliest memories is starting in the darkroom—learning the process hands-on, working with film, and experiencing photography beyond a screen. Being exposed to non-digital photography early on taught me patience, intention, and respect for the craft. Watching images slowly come to life in the darkroom is something that stuck with me and shaped the way I see photography today.
As I got older, that curiosity turned into something more serious. In my early teen years, I landed a photography internship that pushed me to grow creatively and professionally. It gave me real-world experience, challenged my perspective, and deepened my passion for the art form. From that point on, photography wasn’t just something I loved—it was something I knew I wanted to pursue.
Now, I’m turning that passion into a business. I’m inspired by real moments, honest emotion, and images that feel timeless and intentional. My goal is always to create photos that tell a story—images that feel natural, meaningful, and true to you. I want every session to feel comfortable, collaborative, and enjoyable.
Being based in Metro Detroit constantly fuels my creativity, from the city’s grit and character to its quieter, unexpected beauty. I bring that same blend of artistry and authenticity into every shoot.
